Memories

"Memories, all alone in the moonlight! I can dream of the old days! Life was beautiful then! I remember the time I knew what happiness was! Let the memories live again!" (Insert violins here!)

Okay so this post has nothing to do with "Cats". It's all about my memories. Or actually your memories of me. Several of my friends have done this and my friend Megan said if I'd post it she has a funny memory to share. So here are the rules:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Since this is our family blog, feel free to leave a memory about any of the four of us.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :)

So that's it! It's pretty easy and pretty painless! Just tell me your memories and I'll tell you mine! (Okay I'm turning into a 7th grader again! Get me out of this school quick!)

And just because I've been wanting to share this picture forever and keep forgetting, here is a gorgeous picture of my baby. Our friend Lynn took this picture sometime this summer and we just can't get over how gorgeous his eyes are! (And yes, he does look just like his father! I know, I know!!! LOL!)

Okay, this may be the oldest memory on this blog - I am going to go back to 1985 - you are the youngest child in the Primary Choir at 2 1/2 (you young to be legal but we couldnt keep you in your seat because you knew all the songs they would sing). You are in front of the whole church singing I am a child of God, and so my knees are grapes. . . hep me find the way. Of course because you were born to be a singer, you were the loudest child by FAR and those little words just rang out for all 200+ people to hear. I am happy to say that today she does say the words correctly: I am a child of God, and so my needs are great. . . help me find the way.

I have lots of memories but the one that always makes me laugh was when you came to visit CA and I dropped Chip's walkman in the sea by accident. Your reaction was priceless! Oh yeah and always telling my best friend Jac Madsen he looked pregnant and crushing on his brother Joel! LOL. That was a fun visit.
